What are the requirements to open a new account?
To open an account:
- A merchant must place a $950.00 minimum opening order for Atelier Metal Collection; $500 minimum for melamine and resin
- We require a Resale or Tax ID
- All applications are subject to review and approval by Beatriz Ball, and the local sales rep. We reserve the right to grant accounts at our sole discretion.
- First time customers are required to pay by credit card until credit is established with our company.
What is your policy on exclusivity?
Exclusivity is rare. If granted it is at the sole discretion of Beatriz Ball.
What is your shipping process and lead time?
- Product is shipped as available exclusively via FedEx.
- Lead time from our Mexico foundry is approx. 4-8 weeks
- All other products from our US warehouse is approx. 2-4 weeks
- Lead times may be extended during market seasons.
- Shipping at 14.5% of product total.
- Any tariffs are charged as a separate line item
- No delivery to PO Boxes permitted.
May I use my own shipping account or carrier?
- No orders are shipped by any 3rd party shipper
- We have an exclusive arrangement with FedEx that allows for the importation of United States destination packages. Customs documentation, brokerage, clearance and international surface transportation are included. Your own discounts do not apply.
- Due to these regulatory conditions we are not authorized to allow for bill recipient or bill third party transportation charges.
How may I pay for my order?
- Beatriz Ball Collection accepts the following forms of payment: AMEX, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, CHECKS & WIRE TRANSFER.
- We do not accept COD orders.
- Checks can be mailed to: Beatriz Ball Collection, Dept AT 952426, Atlanta, GA 31192-2426.
- First time customers are required to pay by credit card until credit is established with our company.
When will my credit card be charged?
If paying by credit card, your card is authorized before the order ships.
How do I cancel/change my order?
- An order may be cancelled at any time.
- Any additions to an existing order must be submitted within 5 days of original order date.
- If beyond 5 days then a new order must be placed.
What is re-order minimum?
- $350 minimum re-order for active accounts ordering our Atelier Metal Collection
- $250 minimum re-order for active accounts ordering our melamine line
How do I maintain an active account?
- To maintain active status an account must purchase a minimum of $3,000 of product per calendar year.
- Any accounts that do not meet this minimum are considered inactive.
- To reopen an inactive account a merchant must place a $950.00 minimum opening order for Atelier Metal Collection or $500 minimum for melamine and resin
- Beatriz Ball has strict MSRP pricing for all active product.
- Our MSRP is applied uniformly across all retail channels.
- Any account that abuses our policy immediately become “inactive.”
- Beatriz Ball does not allow 3rd party re-sellers on eccomerce platforms such as: Amazon, Ebay and Walmart.
What happens if I have a damaged item(s)?
- If any item is not satisfactory we will replace or exchange the product or refund your original method of payment.
- A claim must be submitted with Beatriz Ball within ten (10) days of receipt of product. No exceptions.
- Please notify us immediately of any damage or loss.
- We do not require signatures upon delivery by FedEx to retail locations; however, product drop-shipped to a residential address is at the sole risk of the merchant.
How do I care for my product? Is it food safe?

Do you ship internationally?
- Canadian orders ship at a flat shipping rate of 20% of product total plus US tariff charge
- Canadian customers also are responsible for Canadian duties or tariffs.
- Beatriz Ball can ship outside the US and Canada. Please reach out to your Beatriz Ball Rep for more information.
Do you drop ship?
- We offer drop shipping.
- A $5 USD drop-ship fee is incurred per order in addition to our standard 14.5% shipping rate
How do you handle backorders?
- Backorders ship as available.
- Any retired items could be canceled
How is the Ateleier Metal packaged?
- Each metal piece is individually wrapped in a durable, custom fit cloth pouch featuring the Beatriz Ball logo, protecting and adding value to the piece.
- Our Giftable Collection includes a branded box.
- Branded boxes are available for most metal items at an additional cost.
